Un-Hunk
Samuel's most favorite thing to do in the whole wide world is eat. His most dis-favorite thing to do is pause during eating to burp and/or realize he's not getting any more food. The series of pictures below were snapped in about a 45-second period after he realized feeding time was over...
What the heck??? Where's the rest of my food? |
Mom... do something! Dad won't give me more food! |
Maybe if I look sad they'll give me more??? |
That didn't work. Maybe they want my pitiful look!?! |
Ok, how about a pouty face? |
I'll just try crying again... |

Wood stove
In an effort to keep utility cost down, we decided to have a wood stove installed in the house. The company that installed it did a great job! Here are a few pics during the install. I'll have to get a pic posted later with a fire going and an update of how it works.

ExerSaucer
Samuel is just big enough to start playing in his ExerSaucer with the help of a blankie to help support his neck. He's learning how to play with the toys on it and likes being able to bounce up and down.

Boys and Toys
Dan is going to install a concrete pad in front of our barn next spring. He decided to get some ground work done this winter to get a head start though. This required the rental of a Bobcat. Even in 20 degree weather, he still had fun.

Carrots!
Samuel LOVES carrots. This is the first real food he's eaten. We were curious to see how he'd react after only having formula/breastmilk and rice cereal. We plan on getting him well established on veggies before introducing fruits. We want him to like veggies first so he won't only like sweets.

Spread eagle
We've been leaving Samuel unswaddled throughout the day so he can play with his hands and hopefully stop jerking his arms and scaring himself. He's been doing much better. When he sleeps unswaddled, he really likes to spread out...
